Funding & Independence Disclosures
A think tank is only as trustworthy as its funding structure. Here's exactly how White Globe Initiative separates commercial training revenue from independent public research.
Non-profit status
White Globe Initiative is a non-profit organization. We have no shareholders and distribute no profits — any surplus from training fees or commissioned work is reinvested directly into our research, training, and media programs.
Revenue separation
Income from In-House Training cohorts and commissioned reports is booked to a separate operating budget from our unfunded research program. No training client or report sponsor has access to, or influence over, our working paper pipeline.
Editorial independence on commissioned work
When a report is commissioned (see Reports), the commissioning party sets the research question and receives the finished report — but has no right to alter a finding, methodology, or conclusion before publication.
Sources of funding
White Globe Initiative is funded through a combination of in-house training fees, commissioned report fees, and unrestricted research grants. We do not accept funding that is conditioned on a specific research outcome.
Staff disclosures
Researchers disclose any outside consulting, board positions, or paid advisory work that overlaps with their research area, reviewed annually by our Head of Research.
Data & replication
Underlying data for our working papers is published in the Data & Photographic Gallery wherever confidentiality agreements allow, so our findings can be independently checked.
