Mission
To produce economic research rigorous enough for a journal and useful enough for the people it's about — and to build the training and storytelling that carries it the rest of the way.
Evidence shouldn't stop at the abstract
Too much economic research is written for other economists and stops there. White Globe Initiative exists to carry the same evidence further — into classrooms, newsrooms, and policy meetings — without diluting the rigor that made it worth publishing in the first place.
Concretely, our mission means three commitments held simultaneously:
No claim without a paper behind it
Every public statement we make — in a magazine write-up, a training slide, or a documentary — traces back to a working paper or dataset we can show on request.
Rigor first
Every finding survives internal review, replication checks, and — for our published work — external peer review before it shapes advice to anyone.
Capacity, not dependency
Our training exists to make clients and partners less reliant on outside consultants over time, not more.
A human face on the data
Every major research theme gets a storytelling counterpart — a magazine piece, a short film, or a documentary — because numbers convince, but stories are remembered.
