Institution

White Globe doesn't just study the economy — we teach it. Our Institution runs in-house training open to everyone with an interest in economics, and is building a long-term program to bring economic literacy into elementary classrooms.

In-House Training

Courses built by the people who use them

Every course is taught by a White Globe researcher who applies the same methods in their own working papers the same week. We run five tracks: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Mathematics, and a catch-all Necessary Skills track for data literacy and programming. All of them are open to everyone — the only prerequisite is an interest in economics.

Microeconomics — In Session

Our Microeconomics cohort is currently running. Our other tracks will open for enrollment on a rolling basis.

🔍

Microeconomics

Consumer choice, firm behavior, and market structure — no prior knowledge required.

📈

Macroeconomics

Growth, inflation, monetary and fiscal policy at the national scale.

📐

Econometrics

Regression, causal inference, and panel methods used in our own papers.

Mathematics

The optimization, calculus, and linear algebra that underpin the above.

Catch-All Track

Necessary Skills

Data literacy and programming in R, STATA, Python, and LaTeX — the practical tools that turn analysis into something a decision-maker will actually read.

Elementary Education

Starting where economic literacy should — young

We're building a program to bring age-appropriate economic reasoning into elementary classrooms. It's early, but it's coming.
